Zombie workshop

Enfield - posted Jun, 25 2013

ENFIELD - Create your zombie alter-ego at the Enfield Public Library with professional face painter and special effects artist Caroline Wilcox on Friday, July 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This program is free to grades 6 through 12. Registration now; space is limited. Using professional stage makeup and ordinary household items create burns, wounds, scabs, bruises and all things horrifying. Though all makeup is high quality and washes off with cold cream, soap and water, participants should wear old clothing, since some makeup will stain fabric. Feel free to bring your camera and any props that tell the story of your undead monster. This program is part of the young adult summer reading program, Groundbreaking Reads. Keep track of your reading online to be eligible for prizes. Just click the Groundbreaking Reads icon on the library home page to get started. For more information about this or other events for young adults, please call the Enfield Public Library at 860-763-7517 or visit the library’s website at www.enfieldpubliclibrary.org .
