GLASTONBURY - The Town of Glastonbury is offering the following Senior-Adult programs at the Riverfront Community Center, 300 Welles St., Glastonbury, this summer. For more information, please call the Riverfront Community Center at 860-652-7655. On July 13, “OZ, The Great and Powerful,” will be shown. Starring James Franco and Mila Kunis. Oscar Diggs, a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz. Science fiction – fantasy – Rated PG – 130 mins. On July 20, “Quartet,” will be shown. Starring Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon and Billy Connolly. At a home for retired musicians the annual concert to celebrate Verdi’s birthday is disrupted by the arrival of Jean, an eternal diva and the former wife of one of the residents. Comedy/drama – Rated PG13 - 98 minutes. On July 27, “Stand Up Guys," will be shown. Starring Alan Arkin, Al Pacino and Christopher Walken – Crime comedy about two aging criminals who decide to have one last night of debauchery after one is hired to kill the other. Rated R – 95 mins.
