NORWICH – The Backus Center for Cancer Survivorship will host an educational dinner meeting on Wednesday, July 17, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Backus Business and Technology Center at 11 Stott Avenue in Norwich. Cancer survivors are encouraged to attend this free meeting to learn more about the Backus Center for Cancer Survivorship, which was created to cater to the needs of cancer survivors after treatment. A guest is also welcome. To register, call 860-889-8331, ext. 6317. The Backus Center for Cancer Survivorship offers a multi-disciplinary approach to coordinating care and information on nutrition, rehabilitation, coping strategies, dealing with anxiety and depression, and relaxation techniques.
