Clothing-based ministry

Enfield - posted Jul, 16 2013

ENFIELD - The Hazardville United Methodist Church has started a new clothing-based ministry. The church, located at 330 Hazard Ave., Enfield, has recently entered into a partnership with St. Pauley Textiles to collect and distribute used clothing. There is a collection shed in the parking lot at the rear of the church where people can drop off clothing, shoes, sneakers, belts, purses, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, drapes and stuffed toys in good condition. The church will gather these donations and St. Pauley will distribute them throughout the United States and at various worldwide facilities. There are receipts at the shed so that persons making donations can receive tax benefits for their contribution. For more information you can contact the church office at 860-749-7098.
