COLCHESTER- This summer, Cragin Memorial Library is once again participating in the Connecticut Authors Trail, an annual program that provides an opportunity for eastern Connecticut residents to visit area libraries showcasing Connecticut authors. Author appearances are scheduled throughout the summer at several Connecticut libraries culminating with the finale at Mohegan Sun on Sept. 19. A brochure listing all appearances will be available at the Library or at Please join us for the 5th Annual CAT. On Thursday, Aug. 29, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m, Cragin Memorial Library presents author Susan Campbell, award-winning author of Dating Jesus, and the upcoming biography, Tempest-Tossed: The Spirit of Isabella Beecher Hooker. Her column about the shootings at the Connecticut lottery headquarters in March 1998 was part of The Hartford Courant's Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage. This program had been previously scheduled for Monday, Aug. 5, and has been rescheduled. This program is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
