ELLINGTON - The film, "42," will be shown at Hall Memorial Library, 93 Main Street, Ellington, on Friday, Aug. 16 at 1 p.m. and on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 6:30 p.m. In 1946, Brooklyn Dodgers manager Branch Rickey sets out to change history and break the color barrier in Major League Baseball, when he signs Jackie Robinson to the team. This film is rated PG-13. All films are free and preregistration is not required for movies. Popcorn will be served.
