“St. Mary Parish “Circle of Fun” began 42 years ago and is a Putnam tradition. Although this community event will be held Sept. 13, 14 and 15, a related activity will take place Aug. 15 at JD Cooper’s in Putnam when the “Circle of Fun” holds its second annual Celebrity Bartender Night. Beginning at 5 p.m., and continuing until 9p.m., this kick off event will have well known local celebrities serving the beverages. Who are these local celebrities? From St. Mary Parish will be Ron Coderre, John Adams, Moe Coderre and Philip Durand. Archambault Insurance will be represented by Marc and Tom Archambault, assisted by Bob Fournier. Local politicians will be doing their part and those will be Mayor Pete Place, Deputy Mayor Alma Morey, Selectman Dick Loomis, Selectman Renee Lasko. No celebrity bartender night would be complete without assistance by WINY Radio and Gary O with Kerensa Konesni and John Wilbur. Each team will man the bar for one hour, in the order listed above, beginning at 5:00 pm. All tips to celebrity bartenders will go to St. Mary Parish “Circle of Fun” What a great way to have something to eat and enjoy a beverage or two while being served by your favorite local celebrity and friend. Will others not listed also be helping that night? Will you keep your favorite celebrity busy? Yes, you can keep them busy and get the “Circle of Fun” off to a great start by tipping your favorite bartender Aug. 15 at JD Cooper’s, Park Road in Putnam.”
