CANTERBURY- The Prudence Crandall Museum hosts the “27th Prudence Crandall Day” event on the museum lawn on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 10 a.m. to 4, rain or shine. Admission is free., Event includes crafts demonstrations and sales, music with Song-A-Day of Coventry at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., period games all day. Friends of the Prudence Crandall Museum will be selling box lunches. At 12:30 p.m., Kevin Johnson will present “William Webb: An African-American Civil War Soldier from Connecticut” in the museum barn. The Museum is located at 1 South Canterbury Rd., Canterbury.
