CANTERBURY- The Prudence Crandall Museum hosts the “27th Prudence Crandall Day” event on the museum lawn on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.mn., rain or shine. Admission is free., Event includes crafts demonstrations and sales, music with Song-A-Day of Coventry at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., period games all day. Friends of the Prudence Crandall Museum will be selling box lunches. At 12:30 p.m., Kevin Johnson will present “William Webb: An African-American Civil War Soldier from Connecticut” in the museum barn. The Museum is located at 1 South Canterbury Rd., Canterbury.
