WINDSOR LOCKS- Historian Phil Devlin will introduce his new book, Carney: The Remarkable Life of Dr. Ettore F. Carniglia, MD, at Windsor Locks Public Library on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m.  Dr. Carniglia grew up on Oak Street in Windsor Locks, won a scholarship to Loomis Chaffee, and went on to Harvard University and a medical degree.  He returned to his hometown, where he developed a reputation as a brilliant diagnostician and was beloved by the citizens of Windsor Locks.   Phil Devlin is a retired history teacher who has done extensive research on the life of Dr. Carniglia and other topics of local historical interest.  Registration is required by calling 860-627-1495 or visiting the library at 28 Main Street.  Seating is limited! Check for information on all upcoming events at Windsor Locks Public Library.
