ENFIELD–ERfC School-Age Centers are now accepting enrollments online for before- and after-school activities for Kindergarten through grade 5 and at JFK Middle School for grades 6-8. ERfC operates School-Age Centers at Henry Barnard, Enfield Street School, Hazardville Memorial, Eli Whitney, and JFK Middle School. All School-Age Centers will open on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Busing is available for students in-district attending Parkman and Crandall Schools to Enfield Street and Barnard School. Out of district students attending these schools may also attend after-school activities at Barnard and Enfield Street Centers with permission from the superintendent’s office. This year ERfC will be also offering before-school activities for children attending the four elementary schools from 7 a.m. until the beginning of school. In addition to before and after school activities, ERfC will operate a Vacation Destination Center from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Enfield Street School when schools are closed on non-federal holidays, including in-service, and select school vacation days, for all children in grades K-8. ERfC offers sliding fee schedules and accepts Care4Kids and will work with families to determine qualification and enrollment. For more information and enrollment information for all ERfC programs, visit the website at or call the administrative office at 860-253-9935.
