Healthy eating on a budget

NORWICH- The William W. Backus Hospital will host “Healthy Eating on a Budget” on Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Sprague Community Center, 22 West Main Street in Baltic. The talk will be presented by Jennifer Fetterley, Registered Dietitian of Thames Valley Council for Community Action, Inc. (TVCCA). To register for this free community event, a collaboration between the Backus Community Education Department and TVCCA, call 860-889-8331, ext. 6381. Free food samples will also be available. This event is part of a long-term initiative aimed at improving overall health in the community by offering a comprehensive schedule of health screenings, educational programs, primary care access, support services and more.
