Join Taoist Tai Chi instructors Edwina Trentham and Greg Coleman for an open house, demonstration and first class of Taoist Tai Chi on Tuesday, Sept. 3, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the gymnasium at Asnuntuck Community College. The first class is free and will introduce the moves of Taoist Tai Chi, which is designed to promote health and well-being for people of all ages and in all health conditions. If you decide to sign up for the class, which will be taught by Edwina Trentham, with her husband Greg Coleman as a set leader, the class will meet on Tuesdays from 1 to 2 p.m. in the gym for three or four months. Instructors are all volunteers, but there is a $20 registration fee to join the Taoist Tai Chi Society of the USA. After that initial registration fee, the monthly dues are $40 for adults; $30 for students; and $25 for seniors. Come and learn more. Meet continuing students who have learned the set or part of the set and will happily share their Tai Chi experiences with you. Here is a chance to discover the many benefits of this practice and find out if Taoist Tai Chi is for you. For more information, contact Edwina at firstname.lastname@example.org 860-253-3105 or call Greg Coleman at 203-668-7885 or email email@example.com.
