ENFIELD- The Nearly New Shoppe at Enfield Congregational Church, 1295 Enfield Street, Enfield, will be opening on Saturday Sept. 7 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. This will coincide with its annual tag sale. The Nearly New Shoppe has been in operation for the last 50 years at the Enfield Congregational Church. All items we sell are donated from our own church members and members of the community. The shoppe is staffed by volunteers, and all income goes to the church for its maintenance and its missions. During these economic times a thrift store is an excellent alternative to high prices. Come visit our facility in the white building, to the left of the Church. It is handicap accessible and has a changing room. We have a good selection of gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories for men, women, and children. Prices are very reasonable, and special sales are announced and posted. The shoppe will continue to be open on Wednesdays noon-3 p.m., Thursdays 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
