Probate Court field trip

Manchester - posted Aug, 30 2013

MANCHESTER- The Genealogy Group has arranged a field trip to the Probate Court, 66 Center St, Manchester, on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. Judge Michael Darby will show us the historic building and identify the information available for genealogical research at the Probate Court. Parking is available along Linden Street and behind the Town Hall, with limited parking in the lot behind the Probate Court. The Genealogy Group consists of members of the Manchester Historical Society with an interest in researching our own family history. Those who are looking for other research projects to do may speak with the group’s chairperson, Dennis Gleeson, who has a list of Manchester families and properties that the Historical Society would like to have studied. Generally we meet on the second Tuesday of the month at the Manchester History Center, where members of the Historical Society coordinate the group of both amateurs and experts with an interest in genealogical research. Non-members are welcome for a $3 fee. For more information about upcoming events, see the Events page of
