Reading programs

SOUTH WINDSOR- The South Windsor Public Library offers the following reading programs. Call 860-644-5404 for more information. "Family Stories" is one-half hour of stories for children ages 3 and up with at least one adult member of the family at the South Windsor Public Library. No registration is required. This program will be held on Saturdays, Sept. 7, 14, 21 and 28. Reading Roundup: This program is for children ages 3-5 who can attend without a care giver. Miss Michele will share stories, activities and a craft with the children. Registration is necessary. This program will be held on Sept. 12, 19, 26, and Oct. 3. Terrific Twos Learn the Alphabet is a story time for children ages 24 months to 36 months that includes stories, rhymes and songs at the South Windsor Public Library. Each week we'll concentrate on one letter of the alphabet. Registration is required. This program will be held on Sept. 10, 17, 24, and Oct. 1. Bouncing Babies: For children ages 6 months to 24 months with a care giver. We'll share stories, music, bounces and rhymes for 15 minutes. This is followed by 45 minutes of free play. This will be held at two times, 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., and will be held on Sept. 13, 20, 27 and Oct. 4.
