Fall programs at the library

COLCHESTER- Cragin Library in Colchester offers storytime sessions for children from birth to second grade during the school year. Early Fall session is Sept. 9 through Oct. 17. Registration is now being taken by phone or in person. There will be no storytime for the week of Sept. 23 in order to accommodate Kindergarten field trips. Call the library at 860-537-5752 for more information. Baby Book: Thursdays, 10-10:30 a.m. For non-walking infants and their caregivers. Walkers and Talkers: Wednesdays, 11:15-11:45 a.m. For walking toddlers up to 2 1/2 years of age with a parent or caregiver. Tremendous 2's and 3's: Mondays 10:30-11 a.m., or 11:15-11:45 a.m.; or Wednesdays 10:40-11 a.m. For children ages 2 1/2 through 4 years of age with a parent or caregiver. Fabulous 4s and 5s: Tuesdays, 10:30-11 a.m., or 1-1:30 p.m. For older preschoolers at least 4 years old who can attend comofrtably without a parent. This program introduces children to longer, more detailed books. Terrific Thursdays: 3:45-4:30 p.m. Afterschool fun for children in Kindergarten through Grade 2. Snack, with stories and a craft.
