COLCHESTER- Wouldn’t you like to keep your garden growing right into the fall and winter? There is a way, using row covers, tunnels, cold frames, and greenhouses. Vegetable plants grown in protected cultivation, can produce in fall, winter, and spring in Connecticut. Dr. Martin Gent, of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station, will discuss how to extend your gardening season on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 6:30 pm, at Cragin Memorial Library.
