Family fun at the fair

WINDSOR - For a day full of fun, family activities and good food, come to Northwest Park in Windsor on Sept. 21. All-day entertainment including the Windsor High School Gospel Choir, Farmington Valley Chorus, 94th Army Rock Band and Ole Possum, among others, along with hay rides, pony rides and games galore; offers something for everyone. Don't miss the traditional Box Lunch Auction or the scarecrow contest. Vote for your favorite scarecrow at this event sponsored by local businesses. Demonstrations, such as Sensing Nature, Life in a Pond, Kids & Critters, the 4-H Rabbit Club, the Windsor High Robotics Club, and the popular Child Identification Program round out the day. A variety of food offerings will be available as well. Visit the food court for tickets and a choice of specialty items presented by local civic organizations.
