ENFIELD - On Monday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m., the Enfield Historical Society will host, Titanic: Mrs. Thomas Andrews. Enjoy a riveting presentation by Denise Vanaria as Helen (Mrs. Thomas) Andrews, widow of one of Titanic’s chief designers who perished with the entire Harland & Wolff "Guarantee Group" on 15 April 1912. Hear intimate and heart-rending accounts of the Titanic tragedy and Edwardian society as Vanaria accurately recreates the life and times of Helen "Nellie" Andrews, as she appears in authentic Titanic-era. The program will be held at the Enfield American Baptist Church, 129 Post Office Road. Admission to the program is free; the public is welcome.
