WINDSOR - See how the soldiers from the 14th Connecticut Volunteer Infantry Company G lived while in the army during the civil war. The 14th Regiment began its service in 1862 participating in 34 battles and skirmishes before returning home to Hartford in May of 1864. Using authentic equipment and wearing authentic uniforms, members will be at the fair all day to show and tell you their stories. The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 21, at Northwest Park in Windsor. For complete information about the fair and directions to the park, visit www.northwestpark.org.
