'Healthly Family Nutrition' program at Enfield Library

ENFIELD - Professional chef and certified nutritional consultant Bob Roy will present, Healthy Family Nutrition, at the Enfield Public Library on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m. Healthy Family Nutrition aims to educate parents on how their families can eat healthy and what the obesity crisis is doing to children in this country. Roy will focus his talk on such topics as: cutting your grocery bill and still eating healthy; how to prepare healthy meals in advance so busy nights do not turn into fast food nights; learning about healthy snacks and how processed foods affect our bodies; and how to kick bad eating habits, with an emphasis on soda consumption.
