Seeking auction volunteers

WINDSOR - Windsor Historical Society’s pre-holiday auction will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Birch Meadow Banquet Facility, 76 East Dudley Town Road, just over the Windsor/Bloomfield line. Tickets to the auction are $35 and include a dinner buffet and cash bar. Save the date and plan on attending a wonderful community event. The Society is looking for volunteers to help ensure that our auction is a success. Our most immediate need right now is for volunteers willing to make calls to former auction donors to solicit donations for upcoming auction. These are members of Windsor Historical Society and community business partners who appreciate an additional thank-you for past donations and are happy to donate again if they can. Additional auction tasks needed include distribute tickets; organizing, packing and moving auction; arrange table displays of auction items on auction day; and help during the auction as a cashier, recorder, table monitor or clean-up and packaging crew member.
