Halloween happenings

SUFFIELD - Kent Memorial Library is holding the following Halloween programs: Halloween Costume Party - On Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 10:30 a.m., children ages 2 - 5 are invited to show-off their Halloween costume at Kent Memorial Library. During the 45-minute Halloween Costume Party, children will hear a Halloween story, play a Halloween game, make Halloween crafts, decorate a Halloween cookie, munch on apples, donuts, drink apple cider, and participate in a Halloween parade around the library. Registration is limited and will begin Tuesday, Oct. 8. Halloween Party - Children in grades kindergarten through fourth are invited to a Halloween Party at Kent Memorial Library on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 3:30 p.m. During this one-hour carnival event, children will have the opportunity to create Halloween crafts, decorate a trick-or treat bag, play a Halloween games, munch on apples, donuts and drink apple cider. There will even be some Halloween tricks along with treats. If you're up for some ghoulish fun, register for this program beginning Tuesday, Oct. 8.
