WILLIMANTIC- As a Special Event, The Windham Theatre Guild presents Eve Ensler’s "The Vagina Monologues." Based on interviews with over 200 women, "The Vagina Monologues" give voice to females' fears, hopes, love, and laughter regarding their bodies and sexuality. Audience members will leave with a different perspective on the feminine form. The monologues are witty, moving, compassionate, and at moments hilarious. It's sure to be an enlightening experience! On opening night, Friday, Oct. 4, everyone is welcome to attend a reception at 7 p.m. featuring food and casual conversation with Windham Theatre Guild Board members. The show runs Oct. 4 and 5 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 6 at 2 pm. As the title implies, this play has adult language and themes and is not appropriate for children. Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for students and seniors and $12 for UConn, Eastern and QVCC students. For reservations call 860-423-2245 or visit windhamtheatreguild.org.
