Volunteers sought

Enfield - posted Sep, 27 2013

ENFIELD - The town of Enfield Department of Social Services will be offering free tax help to low and moderate income individuals, and volunteers are needed to assist. Volunteers will play a crucial role in Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. They would take on a variety of roles including: welcoming people coming in for tax preparation assistance; translation services; and preparing and filing federal and state tax forms. For more information about volunteer opportunities during the upcoming tax season, please contact Larry Hayward, VITA coordinator at lhayward@enfield.org or by phone at 860-253-6395.
