WINDSOR - The Oct. 14 meeting of the Windsor Garden Club will feature a program entitled, Attracting Birds and Butterflies to Your Garden. This presentation will explain the importance of native plants, flowers and shrubs in making your garden alive with birds and butterflies. Presenter Faith Geist is a graduate of Potsdam State University, is an interesting and knowledgeable presenter with years of experience. Geist is a master gardener and longtime volunteer at the Connecticut Audubon Society in Glastonbury. Windsor Garden Club meetings are held at the LP Wilson Center, 599 Mantianuck Ave., Windsor, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. For additional information, please visit windsorgardenclubct.org.
