ENFIELD - The Enfield Historical Society and the Connecticut Historical Society (CHS) are teaming up to bring you From Bonnets to Bell Bottoms: A Century of Connecticut Fashion, on Monday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m., at the Enfield American Baptist Church, 129 Post Office Road, Enfield. Admission to the program is free; the public is welcome. Come see what has changed and what has stayed the same through 100 years of fashion history, from the 1860s to the 1960s. Join Karen DePauw, research and collections associate at CHS, as she explores the clothing of our past. Clothing is something we use every day of our lives. Come see what has changed and what has stayed the same through 100 years of fashion history. Her work at CHS focuses around its 5,000-plus costume and textile collection spanning from the late 16th-century to the present. DePauw invites you to join in the discussion and share your memories by bringing in your own favorite garment. This program is a part of the CHS adult education program.
