VERNON- On Tuesday, Nov. 12, the Rockville Public Library will conduct a book discussion about "Paris in Love" by Eloisa James. Ms. James has written a memoir that is at times funny, romantic, and poignant. In 2009 after a health crisis, she and her husband Allessandro both took a sabbatical from their respective positions as college professors and moved their family to Paris. The book is chock-full of little vignettes of their life in France, adjusting to the cultural differences, finding their way around the city and even bridging the language issue. It also includes recipes and the description of most of the food is simply amazing. Ms. James is known as Mary Bly in her day job as a Professor of Shakespeare at Fordham University. The book discussion will take place at the Rockville Public Library Annex, located at 46 Union Street, Vernon at 2 p.m. Those who wish to participate can call the Adult Circulation Desk at 860-875-5892 ext. 21. Copies of the book are available at the library.
