TOLLAND - Google’s Books app as a source for genealogists will be explored at a free public seminar presented by the French-Canadian Genealogical Society of Connecticut on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m., at its library in the Old County Courthouse, 53 Tolland Green, Tolland. Raymond Cassidy, of Kensington, will demonstrate the use of the app to research ancestors, refine a search, use the results, download a book and find no- preview books. He will also show how to use Google’s Translate app.
