NORWICH- The Women in NAACP (WIN) Committee of the Norwich Branch NAACP will be celebrating its third anniversary with a Trailblazers Tea from noon to 3 p.m. at United Congregational Church, on Saturday, Oct. 26. The theme “Moving Forward with WIN” with Faith Jackson, NAACP State WIN Coordinator, as Keynote Speaker. Linda Lancz and Chris Gregory will be the recipient of the Norwich Branch NAACP Frances Hooks Award for their leadership in the inception of WIN. Dianne Daniels, Shirley Terry, Olympia Gregory and Karen Woodmansee will be presented Certificates of Appreciation for their support of WIN Activities. WIN Committee will serve tea, finger sandwiches and cake. Admission is $10; proceeds will benefit the Winners Academy for Girls, a group sponsored by the WIN Committee.
