SALEM- The Salem Free Public Library is starting a kids’ book group called “Mostly Graphic Novels.” On the last Monday of every month, kids will get together, eat pizza and talk about graphic novels and possibly other books. The facilitators will be library staff members, Kathy Sasso and Jackie Hemond. The first meeting of the group is Monday, Oct. 28 from 5 to 6 p.m., when participants will talk about their favorite graphic novels. They will also receive two graphic novels to read for the next meeting in November. The group is open to kids around the age of 12. Please register by calling the Salem Free Public Library, 264 Hartford Road, at 860 859-1130.
