HEBRON- On Nov. 9, AHM Youth and Family Services will be hosting its annual Fall Foliage Concert and Auction. This local tradition has grown each year. Tickets are $30 per person. The concert will feature Heather Masse, a member of the acclaimed, Juno-award winning Canadian band "The Wailin' Jennys". This year’s opening act will be the ever popular Dino and the No Names. This band of highly talented local musicians will be performing in one of their last concerts in the area before heading off to college next fall. During intermission of the concert, as has been an annual tradition, good friend of AHM Youth and Family Services, auctioneer RJ Weston will be selling, to the highest bidders, ten great live auction items. Items include: a vacation getaway, a UCONN Men’s Basketball Skybox at the XL Center, a retirement plan exclusively for Connecticut Teachers, a house concert with Dino and the No Names, a signed UCONN basketball from the first women’s championship season, a signed Don Taylor limited edition framed nature photographic print, wine of the month, UCONN men’s and women’s basketball tickets and a classic hand made wooden boat built by a team of AHM volunteers. Throughout the event, a silent auction will also be taking place with gift certificates and baskets donated by area businesses, organizations and individuals. There will be wonderful food for guests to enjoy as well throughout the evening. All proceeds from the concert and auction will go directly to supporting AHM programs and services for local children and teens. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Call 860-228-9488.
