MARLBOROUGH - The Marlborough Arts Center is presenting Gail Wade and Turning Point on Friday, Nov. 15, at 231 North Main St., Marlborough, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. This is an annual event in the Center's musical series and one anticipated eagerly by the audience which comes from throughout the state to be part of these always special evenings. Gail Wade is a singer, song-crafter, and guitarist whose sultry voice and back-up acoustic band bring a fresh interpretation to Americana, bluegrass, and blues through brilliant vocal arrangements and harmonics. The Turning Point includes some of the area's finest acoustic musicians: Peggy Ann Harvey on fiddle, saxophone, and harmonica; Dan Menzone with an unique touch on his banjo; Rob Rainwater's diverse musical background on acoustic bass; and Tim St. Jean is the veteran mandolin master. Together they make musical magic and an evening that no one can forget and no one wants to end. The doors open at 7 p.m.; come early. Admission is $15 per person at the door.
