COVENTRY- Capt. Nathan Hale Middle School (CNH) 6th graders participated in an art project/contest for State Rep. Tim Ackert. The art project focused on what it means to be from Coventry. Students worked with CNH art teacher Melissa Sposato to complete a two-point perspective drawing of a landmark building in Coventry that was important to the students. On Oct. 21, State Rep. Ackert visited CNH to congratulate all students who participated and presented Shelby Hineline and Zachary Peterson with awards. Shelby’s artwork was of her home and Zachary’s artwork was Coventry’s Booth and Dimmock Library. Their artwork will be hung in the Capitol Complex in Hartford, through the month of November.
