Movies at the library

SUFFIELD- Kent Memorial Library will show the following movies at the library. Movies begin at 2 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Wednesday, Nov. 13: This 1942 black and white Best Picture Oscar winner has Rick (Humphrey Bogart) falling in love in Casablanca, Morrocco. This drama also stars Ingrid Bergman. Michael Curtiz won a Best Director Oscar. Nominations went to Bogart for Best Actor and Claude Rains for Best Supporting Actor, (102 minutes; Rated PG) Friday, Nov. 15: Imogene’s (Kristen Wiig) life is falling apart and she must move back home to Jersey. Living with her mother (Annette Bening) is *so* not what she wants at this point in life. This comedy also stars Matt Dillon.(103 minutes; Rated PG-13) Monday, Nov. 18: Hail to the nurses returning from war in this 1943 black and white drama about a group of nurses recalling their experiences in combat and in love. Starring Claudette Colbert and Veronica Lake. Paulette Goddard was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar. (126 minutes; Not Rated) Tuesday, Nov. 19: Several hundred allied POWs plot an escape from a German camp. This 1963 drama stars Steve McQueen, James Garner, Richard Attenborough, Charles Bronson and James Coburn. (172 minutes; Not Rated)
