COLCHESTER- The Family Resource Center, located in Colchester Elementary School, is available to families in Colchester, brought to you in partnership by C3, TVCCA, and Colchester Public Schools. Currently offered are three different weekly programs: Sign and Play- Designed for children of all abilities ages birth through 3 years to take with their parent, guardian or caregiver to learn American Sign Language (ASL) through songs, games, activities, and most importantly, encouragement. Session dates are Mondays 9:30-10:30 a.m. (Nov. 18, 25, Dec. 2, 9, and 16; Joyful Noises: Each session begins with free play providing an opportunity for play and socialization. The class is designed for children ages 18 months to 5 years with a caregiver and will be held for eight weeks. Session dates are Thursdays 9:30-10:30 a.m. (Nov. 7, 14, 21, Dec. 5, 12, and 19; Be Kind And Unwind - A Mamoga KalmKids Yoga program, is for all ages. This is a time for children age birth through five to enjoy a story and gentle movement with guided relaxation alongside caregiver. Held at Cragin Memorial Library in Norton Room A (note change in location). Fridays 10:15- 11a.m. (Just four weeks in this session: Nov. 15, 22, Dec. 13 and 20. All classes are free.
