Framing Techniques - Wednesday, Nov. 13, 7 – 8:30 p.m. Mandy Hambel, a former art teacher, art studio and frame shop manager, will explain how awareness of design elements helps when deciding how to frame a photograph–or other medium–to enhance the image. She will give an in-depth look at the mechanics of matting and framing, as well as resources for supplies and local professional framers. Please join Hambel for this very informative photography framing workshop. Cost is $18 for CAS members; $25 for non-members. Harvey Reid concert - Friday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m. The 'master minstrel' songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Harvey Reid has honed his craft over the last 35 years in countless clubs, festivals, cafes, schools and concert halls across the nation. He has been called a giant of the steel strings and one of the true treasures of American acoustic music. Reid will be performing a medley of favorites. Admission is $15 members; $20 non-members. Light snacks available.
