Library seeking participants for tree festival

ELLINGTON - The Hall Memorial Library in Ellington, will once again be hosting the annual Community Tree Festival during the upcoming holiday season. Previous festivals have featured trees, wreaths and centerpieces of all kinds and sizes decorated by individuals, organizations and businesses. During the festival, which includes the day of the WinterFest activities, the library is transformed into a magical forest of trees reflecting the creativity of our community and adding a touch of fun to the holiday season. Everyone is invited to participate; your imagination is your only limit. Applications are available at the library or on the website www.library.ellington-ct.gov, and need to be returned by Nov. 22.
