School counselor recognized

CHAPLIN- Region #11/Parish Hill Middle/High School is pleased to report that school counselor Kimberly Hegg, was selected to receive the prestigious Judith Nilan Award. The award is given to a school social worker, psychologist, guidance counselor or teacher who excels in promoting youth development, drug prevention and anti-violence. The award is designed to honor the life and work of Judith Nilan, a school social worker at Woodstock Middle School, who worked with Northeast Communities Against Substance Abuse to educate youth on drug prevention and anti-violence programs.
