MANCHESTER- The Manchester Public Library's monthly discussion dedicated to the mystery genre will take place on Monday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. "Billy Boyle: a World War II mystery" by Connecticut author James R. Benn is the selection. An Irish cop from Boston, on loan to the U.S. Army in Norway, finds his investigative powers tested by a theft and two murders. Copies of the book are available in the Library's Reference Department. The free program is open to the public and registration is not required. The book discussion will be held in the Howroyd Room at the Mary Cheney Library, 586 Main St., Manchester. Light refreshments will be served.
