Musical comedian

WINDSOR- The Friends of Northwest Park are pleased to present musical comedian Carla Ulbrich in concert on Saturday Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Northwest Park Nature Center in Windsor. Carla has a love of wordplay and a keen observational eye. Before becoming the Singing Patient, she was primarily known for her humorous songs about such topics as wedgies, Waffle House, and Klingons. Something of a mix between Phoebe and Jeff Foxworthy, she cited her biggest musical influences as Sesame Street, camp songs, and cat food commercials. The Northwest Park Nature Center is a smoke free, handicap accessible facility located in Windsor, Connecticut. Tickets are $16 and are available at  www.northwestpark.org or by calling 860-285-1886 Proceeds will benefit environmental studies at the Park.
