A quiet Christmas Mass

Manchester - posted Nov, 21 2013

MANCHESTER - Quiet Christmas Mass is being held on Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. at Saint Bridget Church, 80 Main St., Manchester. Anyone who is experiencing grief during this holiday time is invited to attend this special Mass which is designed to meet the worship needs of those who are experiencing loss of any kind and are unable to feel the joy of the season. These losses may be due to the death of a loved one, the ending of a relationship, the loss of a job, a decline in health—any loss that has been painful. This may be a time when you feel lost or fearful and you cannot celebrate Christmas with all the joy and energy you usually put into it. Come to the Quiet Christmas Mass and experience quiet and peace, words of strength and hope in community that will sustain you through the season, and be shared as a reminder that God’s presence is for those who mourn and God’s word comes to give light in darkness. Please join us for refreshments and fellowship after the Mass.
