MANCHESTER- William Sydney Porter's short stories centering on the lives of ordinary people will be shared. More popularly known as O. Henry the author is most noted for his use of plot twists and surprise endings. The discussion will be held on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Howroyd Room at the Mary Cheney Library, 586 Main St., Manchester. Copies of the book are available in the Library's Reference Department. The free program is open to the public and registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served.
