SOUTH WINDSOR - On Sunday, Dec. 1, South Windsor Cultural Arts will continue its 33rd annual Concert Series with a holiday concert by Yale University’s premier all-women’s a cappella group, Something Extra. The group has toured throughout North America, Europe and the Caribbean performing at venues from the White House and U.S. embassies to the set of "Jeopardy!". The group will be touring internationally in March 2014. This special family concert will include a variety of selections, from classics by Cole Porter to contemporary works by The Indigo Girls, as well as holiday favorites and a carol sing-along. This concert is at 3 p.m., at the First Congregational Church, 993 Main St., South Windsor. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. Come early for best seats. The concert is free; donations are welcome. Sponsors are 3D Asset Management and Farmington Bank of South Windsor. For information, call 860-644-5320 or 860-416-6920.
