Anniversary celebration

SALEM- The Salem Library will celebrate its 9th anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 7 with a variety of activities. At 10 a.m., Kids can read to Murf the Dog and her human, Lee Fieseler from the organization, Tail Waggin’ Tutors. —please register. Free 1 p.m.: Holiday Paper Wreaths Workshop for Adults with Papermom, Andrea Kaiser—please register. Free Noon: Author Marilyn Davis will be here to sell and sign her book, Maddie and Beanie’s Magical Journey – a children’s book 1 p.m.: Author Denise Gadreau will be here to sell and sign her books on meditation, stress-relief, spiritual growth. Some of her titles are: "Visualizations for a Stress-Free Day," "The Miracle is You: Life’s Journey," "The Asylum: Reflections of the Norwich State Mental Hospital." 2:30 p.m.: Foot-Stomping Concert with the Eight Mile River Band!
