Comedy for social change

Norwich - posted Nov, 26 2013

NORWICH- Artrreach, Inc. presents a program of original comedy, puppetry, poetry, and song celebrating and poking fun at the winter season. The Second Step Players write and perform conscious comedy for social change. Their funny, feel-good performances open minds and heal hearts by increasing positive perceptions of people who have mental illnesses. The troupe has been described as “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest meets Saturday Night Live!” "All for Your Delight," directed by Kato McNickle, is an evening designed to dazzle the eye, engage the ear, and chase away the winter blues. Proceeds from this event support the arts, health, and wellness programs administered by Artreach, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing artistic opportunities to adults who have experienced psychiatric disorders. This event will be held at the Donald Oat Theater, 62 Broadway, Norwich, 3rd Floor, Dec. 18-21, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $20 for the first two front rows, and $30 for the VIP experience.
