STAFFORD - Support local commerce and the JMH Auxiliary by shopping at the Johnson Memorial Hospital (JMH) Auxiliary Holiday Boutique on Thursday, Dec. 5 and Friday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the hospital’s main lobby. This expanded two-day sale features a wide array of gifts to meet everyone’s shopping needs. In lieu of an entry fee the Auxiliary asks the JMMC community to consider supporting JMMC’s efforts to collect critical food needs for the Safe Net food pantry in its hometown of Stafford Springs. Collection boxes will be available at the hospital’s main lobby entrance and at the Johnson Surgery Center, 148 Hazard Ave., Enfield. On Dec. 5, the boutique will feature local vendors including Avon, Handmade by Lora, JMH Gift Shop, Pampered Chef, Pastries for Pets, Tastefully Simple and Tina and Linda’s Jewelry. On Dec. 6, the boutique will feature a lobby-wide tag sale, an amaryllis and paper whites sale and Gift Cards That Give. As an added bonus, anyone unable to stop by the boutique, but wanting to support the Auxiliary is invited to visit the following websites to shop. A portion of the proceeds from any purchases made the first two weeks of December will be donated to the Auxiliary.
