Speaker on therapeutic horseback riding

REGION - The Dec. 18 meeting of Success Special Education PTO will feature the presentaion, Therapeutic Benefits of Horseback Riding, by Karin Bromley. Bromley is autism program coordinator and therapeutic riding instructor at Premier Equine Therapeutics in Marlborough. The presentation will explain how horses and equine-assisted activities are used to support the growth of cognitive, physical, emotional and social skills in children. The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Willington Public Library, 7 Ruby Road, Willington. The public is welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served. Success Special Education PTO serves parents and families in Willington, Tolland, Stafford, Ashford, Mansfield and surrounding areas. Meetings are held monthly at the Willington Public Library. Meetings regularly feature speakers and presentations on topics of interest to parents. The meeting schedule is posted at www.successsepto.org.
