Grant writing workshop

HAMPTON- Two of Connecticut’s most successful grant writers will present a free workshop on “Best Tips for Writing a Winning Grant” during EASTCONN’s Grant Development Council meeting on Thursday, Dec. 19, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at EASTCONN’s Conference Center, 376 Hartford Turnpike (Route 6), Hampton. Educators and community organization representatives, who are interested in developing their grant-writing skills, are welcome to attend. EASTCONN’s Grant Development Council meets every other month at the Conference Center. Presenting the workshop will be Diane Gedeon-Martin, founder and president of The Write Source, which is well-recognized for its high-quality grant-development services, and Janna Pedersen, founder and president of Ampersand Consulting, which serves non-profit organizations by providing strategic planning and capacity-development technical assistance. The next EASTCONN Grant Development Council meeting will take place on Feb. 20, 2014. Refreshments will be served.
