Holiday sing-along

Andover - posted Dec, 09 2013

ANDOVER- The Andover Recreation Commission will once again sponsor its annual Holiday Sing-A-Long and tree lighting on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 6 p.m., at the Town Gazebo located at 17 School Road, Andover. A special appearance by Tobias and friends will make this a year to remember as they will lead us into holiday music. If you think Selectman Jay Linddy is a Grinch don’t forget his singing appearance of last year and he may do a duet with a well known New Englander vocalist. Santa has a surprise gift for all the children. The tradition of hayrides around Andover Lake continues, with every hayride the route changes for your viewing pleasure of the holiday decorations to keep you in the holiday spirit. Dress warm or freeze while the hayride stops at houses where Santa’s helpers come out and give treats. Holly jolly popcorn and elf cookies will be served along with our own Ma & Pa Billings famous hot chocolate. Everyone is welcome to come and sing along with our Master of Ceremonies Jay. This event is free to all! Come and enjoy the company of your friends and neighbors while enjoying the warmth of our bonfires. The Andover Posse will be there with Tinman Timmy and Santa’s favorite Elves David and Justin to help spread the holiday cheer. In case of inclement weather the festivities will be moved inside.
